Bringing life to 900 N Michigan on their 200 foot LED ceiling
George Berlin Studios partnered with 900 N Michigan in Chicago to light up The Canopy at 900- their 200 foot long, ever-evolving digital tapestry that mimics a giant skylight, fully enveloping visitors’ shopping experience with artful stories that unfold over time.
Visible from the street and all seven levels, The Canopy is an immersive, permanent art installation delivering a culturally elevated digital experience across the atrium ceiling. The Canopy was developed to serve as a sophisticated digital media installation featuring work from curated artists’ around the globe.
We designed 2 distinct shows for their shoppers during October. Our fun and spooky "Monster Mash" nailed all the Halloween hits with creepy crawlies, bouncing green eyeballs ,glowing pumpkins, floating ghosts, creepy ghouls, and dancing furry rave monsters that delighted kids of all ages. "Dance of the Dead" was a lighthearted dive into candy skulls, jolly specters, and the beautiful colors of Dias de le Muertos.

In December, we set the scene for their Illuminate 900 celebration, launching the shopping season for 1000 guests at their annual fundraiser kick-off with a luxuriously designed canvas supporting the lighting of their five-story holiday tree, music and holiday festivities.
